Thro‘ the sacrifice of Jesus the Lamb,
Thro‘ the blood full atonement is made,
He has carried all our burdens of sorrow,
And on Him our transgressions were laid.

Thro‘ the precious blood He offers so free;

We are rescued from our bondage forever,
And the way of redemption is plain.

Unto all who repent and believe,
What a comfort in the promise He left us
Thro‘ the blood we may pardon receive.

As in Adam we are ruined and lost,
So in Christ shall our life be restored,
And the Father in His mercy will own us
